New Visa Application Procedure at the Embassy of Malta in Moscow

The Embassy of Malta, Moscow is pleased to introduce a new facility to meet the ever-increasing demand for Maltese Visa among Russians. It is our constant effort to provide greater comfort and convenience to our visa applicants. As per the new arrangement there will be a service charge of 1000 Roubles (inclusive of VAT) levied per application over and above the visa fees.

Applications can now be submitted at the Malta Visa Application Centres at

Moscow

Saint Petersburg

Yekaterinburg
Gogol Street 36, Office 1001, Yekaterinburg, 620075

A visa application can be submitted by the following:

1. Applicant himself.
   
2. Travel Agents.
   
3. Representative.

Note:
Applicants who do not come personally to the Visa Application Centre should provide a letter of authority to the representative (relative, friend, travel agency).

Applications accepted at Malta Visa Application Centre, Moscow will be submitted to the Embassy on the next working day. Applications accepted at the Malta Visa Application Centre, Saint Petersburg and Yekaterinburg will be submitted on the third working day from the date of acceptance.

Applicants who have applied at the Malta Visa Application Centre, Moscow can check the status of the visa application within four working days from the date of acceptance between 1100hrs - 1600hrs. Applicants who have applied at the Malta Visa Application Centre, Saint Petersburg or Yekaterinburg can check the status of the visa application within eight working days from the date of acceptance between 1100hrs - 1600hrs.

In case a Representative or Travel Agent is coming to collect the application he/she needs to carry a Photo ID of himself/herself and an authority letter from the applicant.

For applicants that do want to apply at the embassy, it is possible to make an appointment through telephone number +7 495 775 60 73 of the application centre. Interested applicants in this feature are informed that the possibilities to obtain an appointment are limited, in view of the increased numbers of applicants and there could be a waiting time for an appointment.
